John deere x485 problems
Jun 10, 2018 · 04x485 Discussion starter · Jun 10, 2018. Hello - I have a 2004 X485 with about 680 hours on it. I have owned the tractor since new and have no real issues with it. That is until last fall I started to notice an antifreeze smell while cutting the grass and the overflow tank level was dropping. Not able to find any type of leak over the winter ... 6. Location. Boulder. Tractor. John Deere X485. Hoping that someone can help me with my issue surrounding the cold start issue with my X485 tractor. It takes probably 8-10 cranks to get it to start whereas prior years it was only 1-2 cranks. I keep this tractor meticulously tuned up and garaged at all times.All John Deere 425 x485 2305 4x2 Gator L130 2nd the battery if its a John Deere "Strong Box" there is not any warning when they go. Just replaced one on my 2305 ran good and started good all day.
